Info for NZ iPhone users
Connection Information
If you were a former iPhone user that used to connect to Voyager, or still do - then you need to change over to be a customer of Orcon Internet as soon as possible.
You will need to set up a new account with Orcon and ask to be put on one of the iPhone plans.
Orcon can be contacted on 09-444-4414 or 0508-4ORCON during normal business hours. you can also email us at support@orcon.net.nz
When you sign up for the iPhone service with Orcon you will recieve an email address in the format username@iph.net.nz, and this will not change in the future, even if the iPhone service changes providers again. So you can use and distribute the new email address with confidence.
You are able to use your Voyager email address until Jan 2002 because Voyager will foward your email to your new address as soon as you have changed between providers, however you should start using your new iph.net.nz email address as soon as possible.
Once you have an Orcon account, you should change to the new dialup number 0867-22333.
The settings for mail access are pop3.iph.net.nz and smtp.iph.net.nz
All other features of the iPhone service will remain the same.
What does Orcon iPhone Internet access cost?
The plans are $20 for 20 hours or $30 for 100 hours, then $1.50 per hr for excess
You can combine your iPhone access and regular Internet access into a single account; then, connect anytime from PC or iPhone - however you cannot connect two devices on the same account at the same time.
